Friday warm fuzzies: 3/15

It's Friday!

And I have a great Friday and great weekend in store, do you?  Here's what I'm giddy about today:

1. Visitors this weekend!  My sister K and two of our dear friends M {R's college roommate} and his girlfriend C are coming to visit!  M&C are bringing their adorable dog Cooley who will keep Sam company this weekend.  They've never seen our new house and haven't been to Raleigh except for our wedding, so we're looking forward to showing them our 'hood.  We are going to happy hour tonight at Raleigh Times, then probably dinner at Centro {if we can get in, they don't take reservations}, and out to some bars.  Then tomorrow the girls are hitting up Pure Barre before all the St. Paddy's festivities begin.  I can't wait!

2. A couple of house updates that I'm thrilled about:

dark red curtains in the living room to break up the BEIGE- I love them! :) {via Target!}

festive string lights on the deck for the spring/summer

new vase & paper flowers via West Elm in the entryway

 

3.  We're going to see Jim Gaffigan tomorrow!  If you don't know him, he's a comedian--you may recognize him from having bit parts in some movies/tv shows.  My sister, dad and I have liked him from way back when he did his Hot Pockets bit, and then my dad and sister went to see him live in DC.  R and I literally laugh our asses off when we watch his standup, so I'm pumped to go see his latest material!

 

4. I finallyyyy got a haircut.  Whew. I feel SO much better! :)

 

5. It's supposed to be 70 degrees tomorrow!  Yay for spring and daylight savings time!
