March... what a tough month, amiright?! It could be sunny and in the 60s in NC, raining and in the 50s, or in the upper 40s and windy, or some odd combination of these. You never know what you're going to get and it can be hard to find the right outfit for a particular occasion.
This weekend I'm headed up to Philly to help host my bestie S's bridal shower. I'm her matron of honor, so I've been preparing for this shower for a while now, and I'm super excited! :) Plus, she and her fiance just bought a house and I get to be one of the first {the very first?!} guests!
I didn't want to buy a new dress for the occasion, with other wedding-related expenses on the horizon {hello, bachelorette party!} so I shopped my closet and decided that my J. Crew Memo Dress in Super 120s, in violet, would work well! I usually wear this dress to work, but I think it fits for a bridal shower as well, and it's not too springy or wintery, either! Here's how I'm going to style it:
Simple, polished, and classic for a special occasion. Nothing to flashy, afterall, this is S's day! Comfortable heels for running presents back and forth. Soft curls for a romantic look. And there you have it!
