Friday Warm Fuzzies: 2/8

Happy Friday, friends!

 

If you're up north and dealing with this Nor'Easter, I hope you are reading from the comfort of your bed or couch today!  Down here in NC we're just dealing with a crappy rain situation.  But- all is well!  It's nearly the weekend!

 

Here's what has me counting down until 5...

 

1. A movie date with my husband!  Tonight we're going to go see either Side Effects or Silver Linings Playbook.  We feel like SLP might come to our "cheap theater" {$2 a ticket!} soon, after the Oscars are over, so we may go for Side Effects.  We shall see!

 

2. A Michael's trip this weekend.  I am planning to attempt to make a non-cheesy wreath for spring for our front door.  Looking on pinterest I was very underwhelmed.  I don't want something with TONS of fake, cheap looking flowers.  Plus I'm tired of those string-wrapped-rosette wreaths.  I'm not sure what I'm going to come up with, yet, but we'll see.

 

3.  Addressing/stuffing/stamping invitations for my bestie's bridal shower!  This would be torture to most people but I actually like doing it.  It's monotonous and you can knock it out while indulging in some TV or a movie on the couch.

 

4. A friend's b-day party Saturday night.  Our friends/neighbors are having a bday party and I'm pumped!  We haven't hung out with these particular friends in a while since the holidays were so crazy, so it should be nice to catch up.  Plus, the party is not even a block from our house!  No driving = drinking with abandon!

 

5. Brunch on Sunday at buku.  I've been to this place several times for lunch during work, but never for brunch.  R saw a groupon and scooped it up.  It's a kind of all-you-care-to-eat situation, which should be delish!
